About Us

Dawn on the Ganges River

Dawn on the Ganges River at Varanasi, India

We are married and are looking for somewhere to live and teach in Hobart, Tasmania. Suggestions are very welcome to help find accommodation and venues to teach classes in meditation, Buddhism, yoga and sacred circle dancing.

This year we complete our studies in Buddhism at Diamond Mountain University, Arizona, USA. Our teachers, Geshe Michael Roach and Lama Christie McNally, asked that all their students go out and teach, so we are offering free meditation and Dharma classes in Hobart.

Edward commenced studies in Buddhism in 1999, in Perth. He lived in the Dharmapala Buddhist Centre there for two years, before following his teacher to Melbourne to help establish Kadampa Meditation Centre Australia. Whilst living at KMCA he taught meditation and Buddhism at a number of locations in Melbourne.

A visual artist and photographer, Edward also enjoys cooking and gardening and runs a graphic design company called Infinity Design: http://www.infinitydesigned.com

Nes was born in Singapore but has lived in Europe for most of her adult life. She has always followed a spiritual life, initially working with Christian organisations in various countries such as Pakistan, New Zealand and Germany.

Discovering her current teachers, Geshe Michael Roach and Lama Christie McNally, was a life changing experience and for the past six years, Nes has been studying at Diamond Mountain University. ‘I want to help people in a way that will have a lasting impact on their lives’.
